Business Case

A leading pharmaceutical company wanted to establish a centralized portal for document sharing and collaboration. The company aimed to create a centralized hub where employees could seamlessly upload and access publications, newsletters, information about upcoming events, expert insights, and various other resources. The client also wanted to establish user-based controls for document repositories. 

The objective was to develop a sophisticated intranet portal that would enhance communication, streamline information sharing, and foster collaboration among team members within the organization.

Our Solution

The i2e experts successfully tackled the issues by pinpointing the bottleneck and harnessing the capabilities of SharePoint to construct a user-friendly collaborative platform. 

To ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365 services, our team used SharePoint Online for its cloud-based functionalities. Leveraging SharePoint lists and libraries, we systematically organized and stored content, facilitating easy retrieval and management. 

We employed HTML5 and CSS3, coupled with engaging animations to craft a visually appealing and intuitive user interface, enhancing the overall user experience. We also implemented rigorous permission configurations to support individual accounts, Office 365 groups, and distribution Lists through SharePoint groups and permission levels. 

We also added tailored permission settings in the platform to grant users access solely to content pertinent to their roles, preserving confidentiality and promoting collaborative integrity across diverse devices. 

Our team also integrated monitoring tools to track user engagement and system performance, complemented by a user feedback loop to gather insights and continually enhance the collaborative platform.
