Role overview:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with an MBA (Pharma) / M.Pharm / relevant Life Sciences background and 1–2 years of experience to support strategic growth initiatives within the Life Sciences domain.
This role will focus on market research, proposal development, client presentations, and solution support, with a key emphasis on opportunities related to Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The ideal candidate should be able to understand client challenges, gather inputs from internal stakeholders, and convert them into clear, compelling, and client-ready content.
The candidate will work closely with SMEs, practice leads, project managers, and business teams to support pursuits across PPM, clinical operations, digital transformation, data, and other Life Sciences solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy & Market Research
• Conduct market research on Life Sciences industry trends, client priorities, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
• Identify target accounts, whitespace opportunities, and support go-to-market initiatives.
• Develop competitive intelligence, benchmarking reports, and insight summaries.
• Support development of new service offerings aligned to market demand.
PPM & Solutions Support
• Build understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) concepts such as portfolio governance, resource planning, prioritization, demand management, and reporting.
• Research client pain points and business challenges related to PPM and operational efficiency.
• Support creation of solution narratives, value propositions, and client messaging for PPM opportunities.
• Conduct research on leading PPM platforms, trends, and industry best practices.
Proposal Development & Client Presentations
• Support end-to-end development of RFP / RFI / RFQ responses for client opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality proposals, capability decks, client presentations, and solution documents.
• Convert SME inputs into clear, structured, and persuasive client-facing content.
• Coordinate proposal timelines, review cycles, and submission milestones.
• Support follow-up discussions, clarifications, and demo coordination where required.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with SMEs, practice leads, PMs, and business teams on strategic pursuits.
• Translate business requirements into compelling narratives and executive-ready presentations.
• Maintain reusable proposal assets, templates, and internal knowledge repositories.
Required Qualifications:
• MBA (Pharma) / M.Pharm / Life Sciences degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in research, proposal management, consulting support, presales support, PMO, or strategy roles.
• Understanding of Life Sciences / Pharma functions such as Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, or Commercial.
• Basic understanding of PPM concepts and enterprise project environments.
• Strong PowerPoint and MS Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred skills:
• Experience in IT services / consulting environment.
• Familiarity with tools such as Planisware, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, Power BI, Tableau.
• Experience creating executive-level presentations and client-facing decks.
• Understanding of digital, AI, data, or transformation solutions in Life Sciences.
