We build what others are still planning

About AI Labs

AI Labs is i2e Consulting's applied AI research and development arm, a small, high-velocity team that turns AI in digital transformation a reality. They turn the latest advances in generative AI, agentic systems, and machine learning into production-grade AI solution for for pharma R&D, clinical trial data management, and enterprise productivity. We don't wait for technology to stabilize. We deploy it, stress-test it, and ship it, while the rest of the industry is still writing strategy decks about it.

How AI Labs operates

Latest tools, always

Active access to

  • Frontier models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, open-source)
  • AI-native development environments (Cursor, Claude Code)
  • Workflow orchestration platforms (n8n), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)

Our engineering standard mandates model-agnosticism.

Build speed as a discipline

Solutions move from problem statement to working MVP in 2–5 sprints.

  • A full pharma BD intelligence platform with 15+ data sources
  • A knowledge graph, and autonomous research agents, reached v6.0 in under 3 months.
  • ARM, a portfolio resource forecasting engine, hit demo-ready in 3 sprints.

Every LLM integration is abstracted behind config, so a model upgrade is a YAML change, not a refactor.

Unrestricted experimentation, disciplined delivery

Full autonomy to experiment with any tool, framework, or architecture pattern, with

  • Structured documentation
  • Input validation, and security hardening
  • A README that meets our 23-section engineering standards

Freedom to explore; discipline to deliver.

Small team, outsized output

Operating with a core team of 5–6 engineers.

  • Leveraging AI using AI-native IDEs
  • Automated code generation, and reusable component libraries

Quicker delivery that typically requires teams three to four times our size.

Our AI solutions

ARM (Adaptive Resource Management)

Enables pharma portfolio leaders to model FTE demand across therapeutic areas and geographies, run rapid "what-if" scenario comparisons for milestone shifts and study changes, and update forecasting algorithms without complex PPM tool change cycles.

Compare AI

Replaces the manual Excel-based process of exporting PPM tool scenarios, building ad-hoc comparison formulas, and performing root cause analysis across multiple files

Investing in making AI Labs stronger

AI bootcamp

A structured internal training program designed to make i2e's entire workforce AI-ready.

AI workshops

A practical methodology for getting consistently high-quality outputs from AI tools. Not a lecture about AI — a skills transfer session that changes how people work the next morning.

Cursor rollout for internal teams

The goal: every developer at i2e should be able to leverage AI pair programming, not just AI Labs engineers.

Internal hackathons

Solve real problems fast and build ready-to-ship solutions solving real-time business problems.

Hire-athon

Give candidates a real problem from our backlog and watch how they think, build, and debug. This is how we find people who can operate as a one-person team.

AI tooling standardization

Built a decision matrix for AI model selection, defined an approved stack, and created a shared library.

Engineering standards

Every solution ships against a 23-section guideline covering project identity, architecture documentation, feature status tracking, security practices, performance considerations, deployment runbooks, and a full copy-paste README template.
