Role Overview:
The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of complex enterprise applications involving data processing, forecasting, and workflow-driven systems. The role requires strong expertise in functional testing, data validation, integration testing, and business workflow validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing of application modules and workflows
- Validate business processes across multiple interconnected modules
- Execute smoke, SIT, regression, and exploratory testing
- Validate data accuracy and perform reconciliation across systems
- Test integration flows and ensure data consistency between systems
- Validate business rules, calculations, and hierarchical data structures
- Log, track, and manage defects across the lifecycle
- Support UAT and collaborate with business stakeholders
- Create and maintain test cases, reports, and traceability matrices
- Validate UI/UX behavior and user experience
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing
- Experience in testing data-heavy applications
- Good knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Understanding of APIs, data pipelines, or ETL processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Good communication and documentation skills
