Job Profile:
The Lead NSA (Network and System Administrator) is responsible for leading and managing network, system, and cloud infrastructure ensuring stability, security, and operational efficiency. This role collaborates cross-functionally, adheres to compliance requirements, develops strategies, and maintains accurate documentation for effective network and system administration. The Lead NSA will monitor system performance, implement security policies, and supervise a team of system administrators. A key focus of this role is leveraging AI and automation to streamline and modernize IT operations — including designing intelligent workflows that reduce manual effort across routine IT activities such as employee onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and communication triggers. The Lead NSA will also contribute to cost-cutting initiatives, stay current on technical advancements, and define best practices and support procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Install and configure new software, hardware, server networks, devices, and firewalls.
• Facilitate system hardware maintenance in conjunction internal System Administrators/Jr.System Administrators, contracted partners, and vendors.
• Monitor system performance, IT system operations, and storage utilization.
• Implement monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions to provide a hands-off environment.
• Oversee a staff of system administrators and Provide mentoring, direction, and regular check-ins to measure their performance.
• Encourage a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Create reports that compare planned and actual results for management evaluation.
• Present reports and insights to management to help in decision-making.
• Define and document the best practices for system administration.
• Create support procedures and standards for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build effective and scalable solutions.
• Plan and carry out cost-cutting measures in network and system administration.
• Participate in budgeting procedures by contributing insights and recommendations.

Ideal Candidate:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Proven experience in network and system administration with minimum 6+ years of experience, ideally in a complex setting and large setting
• Technical expertise in operating systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure is required.
• Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers on Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms.
• Familiarity with Jira administration, including configuration and maintenance.
• Experience with Cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Deployment and administration experience with MS Windows Server versions such as 2024.
• Supervisory and mentoring experience with a team of system administrators.
