Responsibilities
- We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers in Pharma, Lifesciences, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing industries (Preferred experience in Pharma domain)
- The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Should have experience of managing large accounts independently
- Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape (overall Business of the customer)
- Proactively perform Account mining/farming, to generate business across verticals
- Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives, key decision makers and stakeholders
- Proactively remain connected to clients to access new opportunities, upcoming projects and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
- Collaborate with our solutioning and sales team to identify growth opportunities with the client to achieve revenue targets while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our services
- Aiding in software solutioning activity alongside the i2e’s technical team in providing digital transformation solutions and technical solutions to the clients
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports on account status to present to the senior management
- As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities
- Manage and coach the internal team
- This position may require occasional travel
Requirements
- Experience of 5+ years with an MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager/Key Account Manager/Sales Account with 5+ years of experience
- Experience in Managing large accounts in Pharma/Lifesciences/Oil & Gas/Manufacturing etc
- Candidates with experience in managing large Pharma/Lifescience candidates would be preferred
- Experience with Software Consulting / I.T Solutioning organizations
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and senior management of the client
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
